Maximum Traceability of the Raw Leather Supply Chain – Year 2024

"Traceability" for DANI represents the constant commitment to monitoring and verifying the entire journey of the raw material, from its origin to the finished product. The primary objective is to ensure that the raw hides and skins come from sustainable sources, in full compliance with strict ethical and environmental standards.

Throughout 2024, our meticulous verification activity has confirmed the responsible sourcing of raw leather from areas not at risk of deforestation. This process also allows us to guarantee that the animals have been raised in dignified conditions, in line with international regulations and standards. This translates into a precise recording of all data relating to the origin of the animals, their welfare during rearing, and the treatments they received.

As a testament to our ongoing commitment, DANI successfully maintained the prestigious TS SC 410 “Traceability of Raw Materials for all leathers” certifications and the advanced "Animal Welfare Risk" analysis tool in 2024 as well, both validated by the ICEC certification body.

These instruments represent a guarantee for the transparency of our supply chain, carefully monitoring the countries of origin of both the slaughterhouses and the farms from which our raw hides and skins originate.

The internal analysis of the purchase value data for the year 2024 highlights our continuous and concrete commitment to a transparent, ethical, and fully responsible supply chain. A visual representation of this data can be viewed here:
