EcoVadis is one of the most important international sustainability rating platforms, whose purpose is to quantify a company’s ability to manage aspects concerning the environment, human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, within the specific sector it belongs to.

Since 2018 EcoVadis has been supporting us in risk management and ESG compliance, to reach corporate sustainability goals and guide large scale impact, promoting improvement of our sustainability and value chain performances.

The letter “E” stands for Environmental and concerns environmental commitment (renewable energies, energy efficiency, recycling and combating waste, primarily).

The letter “S” stands for Social: how companies treat their internal and external stakeholders (those with an interest in the company, from employees to suppliers, from investors to customers).

The letter “G” stands for Governance, an important issue, as only good corporate governance ensures that management and reputational risks are minimised and return is maximised in the medium and long term. Sustainability thus becomes an integral part of the decision-making processes and of the strategic plans of the company.

The overall EcoVadis ESG score (0-100) reflects the quality of the company’s sustainability management system at the time of assessment..

The sustainability recognition levels are based on the “percentile” classification of the company’s EcoVadis score and on the minimum score for each theme.

The criteria for the scorecards published from January 1st, 2023, are the following:

Platinum - 1% of the top companies (overall score between 78 and 100)
Gold - 5% of the top companies (overall score between 70 and 77)
Silver - 25% of the top companies (overall score between 59 and 69)
Bronze - 50% of the top companies (overall score between 50 and 58)

EcoVadis also manages the first collaborative platform that allows companies to transparently monitor their own sustainability performance together with that of all the stakeholders that share their scorecards, in 200 sectors and 175 countries.

With the EcoVadis Platinum Sustainability Rating 2023 assessment, DANI increased its rating by 8 points, entering the Top 1% of companies in the global ranking of EcoVadis (from over 90,000 companies analysed), equivalent to the 99th percentile, and has been awarded the Platinum Medal.
