DANI donates 500 trees to his community with beLeafing

A noble project that the company has chosen to support to help improve the quality of life and well-being of the environment: the plants selected will help preserve and strengthen the presence of bees and pollinating insects.

A new tree for a greener world and a virtuous circle to restore the natural cycle of bees in the ecosystem: DANI has chosen to donate 500 trees to its territory by joining beLeafing, an innovative project that unites companies, citizens and administrations in a large-scale process of widespread and participatory planting to contribute to the environmental well-being of the surrounding area. Conceived by Emiliano Vettore and Diego Pellizzaro, young urban planners, beLeafing is the only web platform in the world that allows people to plant a tree for free and follow it online, as a concrete and tangible help to improve the environment.

The 500 trees chosen by Dani can be planted directly through a simple reservation from the site, helping to produce environmental, social and economic benefits: and every single plant will have its own online page, will be geolocated and photographed, ensuring a great involvement of new green owners and their neighbors. But above all, DANI has selected species that promote the construction of an ideal habitat for urban bees to help preserve biodiversity and the survival of an insect with such a fundamental role in the ecosystem.

The initiative is part of DANI's increasingly convinced path towards sustainability and involves the company with a key role, thanks to the pre-purchase of the 500 plants to be donated to citizens and institutions: chestnut trees, wild cherry trees, dogwood trees, linden trees, all plants that, thanks to the colors and smells of their flowers, attract pollinators, giving the species the chance to reproduce. Reservations will be active from 3 November on the beLeafing website. It will be possible to reserve one's own tree to be collected on 21 November at DANI's headquarters in Via della Concia, 186 in Arzignano, participating in the festive day that the company has organized, opening the doors of its factory to the entire community.
