Code of Conduct and Social Responsibility
Being socially aware - for a company - does not only mean fully complying with the applicable legal obligations, but also going further, investing more in human capital, respecting the environment and relations with stakeholders, generating trust.
The 'Code of Conduct and Social Responsibility' is the tool provided by ICEC - an accredited certifier - for the external diffusion of the principles that inspire the company's activities, acting as the document in which the values of conduct and social responsibility that characterize the company are officially defined.
DANI, which has always been sensitive and a pioneer in mapping out the future of sustainability, obtained this certification after a careful evaluation process by ICEC, which investigated compliance with the guiding principles of social and ethical responsibility throughout the entire production chain (including suppliers and subcontractors as far as they are concerned).
In particular, the contents of SA8000, the most important international conventions (ILO) on the protection of workers' rights, as well as the main requirements for social responsibility, environmental responsibility and business ethics were included.
A new recognition is added to the many already obtained, to publicize and document the commitment that continues to distinguish the historical Vicenza tannery.
The new ICEC tool helps disseminate the principles that inspire the company's activities.
